When to file a grievance
You can file a grievance for any of the following:
- Your report did not generate or is incomplete and a refund was not processed
- You believe your personal data is being handled incorrectly
- You wish to exercise a data right (access, correction, erasure, nomination) and have not received a response
- You have a concern about content in your Kairo report or chatbot interaction
- You believe Kairo violated these Terms of Service
- You have any other concern about Scholaris Private Limited's operation of Kairo
How to file a grievance
Email support@scholaris.co.in with:
- Your full name and registered email address
- Date and nature of the concern
- Any relevant screenshots or reference numbers
- Desired resolution

Response timeline
In line with the Information Technology Rules 2021:
- Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of receipt
- Resolution: Within 15 days of receipt
For complaints not governed by the IT Rules 2021, we aim to provide a meaningful response within the same 15-day window. If a concern genuinely requires more time, we will communicate the reason and a revised timeline before the period expires.
Escalation
If your grievance is not resolved satisfactorily, you may approach:
- Data Protection Board of India (for data-related matters, once operational)
- District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (for consumer protection matters under the Consumer Protection Act 2019)
- Appropriate courts in Mumbai (per the Terms of Service dispute resolution clause)
Language of communication
Grievances may be filed in English or Hindi. We will respond in the language of the complaint where possible.
